Special Species Symposium is an event gathering participants interested in the field of exotic animal veterinary medicine. The College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University and the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania alternate hosting the Symposium annually. Lecture and Wet Lab topics for 2016 include zoo and marine medicine, exotic medicine and practice, animal handling, and much more from experts in the field. The 2016 Special Species Symposium Committee from the University of Pennsylvania is excited to provide participants with a unique learning experience in the many fields of exotic animal medicine.
Details regarding wet lab attendance, dietary restrictions, lodging, etc will be sent to ticketholders in mid-late February.
